The Discovery period is where we discuss your goals for a project in order to create material that captures your audience’s attention and reaches your goals while using your business’s voice.
This step is where you are presented concept designs based on our conversation(s) for you to review. Out of the concepts provided, one is selected to move forward in the design process.
Proceeding from the concept that was approved from the previous stage. A complete and polished product is designed and presented for review.
The last stage is when your final product is reviewed, accepted, and delivered. This could be digital files or printed materials. It all depends on your specific project.

What Are Your Office Hours?
These are the days and times that Valentine Media will be available to be reached. Monday through Friday – 6pm to 8pm EST Saturday – 9am to noon EST Sunday – Closed Please allow up to 48 hours for a response (email or phone)
What are your fees?
All of the projects that Valentine Web Design works on are quoted ahead of time on a project-to-project basis with an accompanying contract agreement. If you would like to get a general idea of how much a certain project might cost, please check out our pricing page here.
Please allow up to 48 hours for quotes to be sent via email. Once a quote is agreed upon, a contract will be written up and sent for review and approval. After completing the necessary steps, Valentine Web Design can proceed with the various stages of your project.
An additional 50% expediting fee will be added to projects that require completion within 48 hours or less.
What Materials Do I Submit?
Materials such as text, logos, images, information, etc. are required before your project can begin.
Electronic files may be sent via email in the following formats
- Text files
- Word documents
- PDF, AI, EPS files
- JPG, TIF
To provide the best quality for your project. Image files must be sent at a minimum of 300 dpi resolution. If files are supplied at lower resolutions, Valentine Web Design cannot ensure the print quality and will not be held responsible for any provided artwork not matching our specifications.
Any recreations of artwork that might be needed, there will be an additional cost added to the project. If there are multiple images and/or logos that may need to be recreated for the project we will discuss and work with you to provide the services needed before work on your project begins.
If any stock photography needs to be purchased for your project. The cost will be added to the project’s quote.
All verbiage/copy for projects must be typed and provided in a Word or text document. There will be a $100/hr. fee for any wording that must be typed by Valentine Web Design.
Can I have a proof before finalizing my project?
Prior to finalizing your project, all clients will have the opportunity to review and proofread each project to confirm accuracy. Once Valentine Web Design receives approval for print or electronic publication, NO changes will be made. Valentine Web Design will not be responsible for any misspellings, punctuation or formatting after your final approval.
What are your turnaround times?
Turnaround times vary per project. However, the average times are as follows:
- Logo Design – 10 to 15 business days
- Graphic Design – 5 to 10 business days
- Web Design – 6 to 8 weeks, but can take longer due to the complexity and size of the website
Printing turnaround times may vary depending on the size of the project.
Do you offer printing?
Yes. We work with third party printers that we have good relations with and trust. If there are any printing errors, we will work with the printer to resolve the issue. Any costs incurred will not be the responsibility of Valentine Web Design. Once print orders are placed, they cannot be canceled and no additional revisions can be made and no refunds will be issued.
Cost, Payment & Cancellations
Because everyone’s needs are different, our proposals are formulated on a project-to-project basis. Projects above $1,000 will require a 50% deposit up-front with the remaining 50% upon completion and before any files/artwork are released. Valentine Web Design accepts cash, checks (made payable to Nicholas Valentine) and Paypal. All deposits are non-refundable; no exceptions.
Any project can be canceled at any time by the will of the client, in writing. If communication stops on behalf of the client after 60 days, the project may be terminated in writing on behalf of Valentine Web Design and all ownership and copyrights of the project will be retained by Valentine Design.
